Just the one entry this week.
Dark Corner – by Brittaina Goffy
Steps forward
in a corner
waves, smiles, reminds me
he’s still here
Crushes a stringy neck
full of good tidings
litters it on my floor
yep, he’s still here
now and then a mighty shout
comes from from that corner
the world goes black, I trip and fall
When I wake up, he’s still here and more
Now and then he steps inside
I stomp hard on his foot
the darkness, he recedes
but Death’s still here.
