This trail of fingerprints is simply browsing. Palm pressed to the hollow of your spine before you step out of the moment, leave this touch behind you in that second where electric ran your length and cracked between your ribs as something begins burning.
I’ve combined by love of sketching and poetry to make some poem postcards for ‘The Muse Spits Blood’. They turned out rather nicely, so I think I might have to make some more postcards for the other quadrilles I have written over the past few years.
Intimate quadrille. I really enjoyed the electric fantastical ending.
Thank you. I do enjoy writing a sexy, little quadrille every now and again.
yah
Great quadrille.
Thank you.
Oh wow, this is visceral Carol — and so captivating… excellent read my friend!
I second Rob, Carol!
‘visceral’ is exactly right. How excellent!

Thank you!
Thank you Rob. The quadrilles are such a good jumping off point in the middle of a poetry drought, so I keep coming back to them. I’m so grateful that so many of you keep coming to read my little pieces.
Oh wow, this piece was jam-packed with sensations. Wonderful.
I feel that the desire to go and eat scones, with jam and cream, was not the response this comment was supposed to elicit, but thank you for commenting.
Oh dear. I just meant that it was filled with sensations and details that were very impressively done. I guess I should have said it that way. Anyway, great piece!
Ooooooooo, I love this! Tingles all over.
Haha, so glad to hear Helen.
A sensuous browse this one. Bravo
Much💛love
Thank you Gillena.
Spine-tingling…in a most exciting way!
Thank you Lynn.
This is good… I have also found that quadrilles work well with sensual words… nice idea with the postcards.
I love the heightened sensory elements of this poem!
