It really is.
Easier to just rationalize away our guilt, but sadly, tremendously undermining in the long run…
Funny I always think it’s much easier to take the blame. Unless it means going to prison, obviously. It shuts the other bleater up and you get some peace.
Being able to admit you only laid the blame on someone else because it was easier is the first step toward accepting responsibility. These words could make that step much easier for someone in the long run. Expertly penned.

Blame is a way we protect ourself. You are right it feels better at the time, but turns sour later. You know we are never wrong!! :>)

I think we have all done this from time to time. Although I’m with Jane, I usually just give in because it’s easier. But not always. (K)
